are designed to take over or assist in the activities that elders
need to be able to stay at home safely and with dignity. These
may include bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulating, fall prevention,
medication and fluids reminders, light housekeeping, running errands
and medical treatments ordered by a physician. |

A: It means activities of daily living which includes bathing, dressing,
ambulating, transferring, feeding and continence. |

WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCES AND PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

A: We
take most Long Term Care Insurances, private insurances and private
pay. |

WILL YOU HELP ME WITH MY LONGTERM CARE INSURANCE PAPERWORK?

A: Yes.

DO YOU ACTUALLY PROVIDE SERVICES BETWEEN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES
OR NURSING HOMES?

A: Yes.
People sometimes discover that the assistance provided in an assisted
living facility or nursing home is not enough to enable
them to remain independent. In these cases, Kelly’s Angels
provides a person to make this possible. In Florida, you are allowed
to hire private help in an assisted living facility – or
nursing home for that matter. |

HOW QUICKLY CAN SERVICES BE PROVIDED?

A: Generally
services can be provided within a 24-hour period and often the
same day. |

CAN I CHANGE THE SCHEDULE IF I HAVE APPOINTMENTS?

A: Changes
are easily accomplished with as little as a day notice. Our philosophy
is to make the schedule work for the family not
the agency. You come first. Your needs, your requests, your schedule.
We will do everything possible to make sure the schedule you want
